To my husband on Valentine’s Day

Dear Anthony,

This is what, our 5th or 6th Valentine’s Day together? I can’t even remember that far back, it seems like a lifetime ago. I want to take a moment to publicly tell you how grateful I am for our love. I am so madly in love with you. Our love is so much fun.

We are always laughing, dreaming big dreams, building each other up… Having you as a husband is an answer to every single prayer I prayed when I was younger. The father you are, the husband you are, the person you are… is someone I am so proud to be married to. Someone I am so proud to love every single day.

You love me even when I don’t deserve to be loved, which makes me love you even more.

You love our children with a fierce love that makes me the happiest mama alive.

You spoil me and my kids, even when we don’t deserve it.

You work SO hard, harder than anyone I know. And you do it all for us. How lucky are we?!

I even love our arguments and the fact that we can’t be mad at each other for longer than 5 minutes.

I love how you have my back, even when I’m wrong.

I love how you know me better than I know myself – you read my emotions and know what I need when I’m having hard moments.
