Thanksgiving Side Dish: Green Bean Casserole

I have three rules when it comes to cooking: easy. simple. delicious. And this dish is exactly that. It’s the dish I look forward to most every Thanksgiving. So when I became a wife and a mom- I started making it so I was contributing to our family gatherings as well. Show up with this dish and a bottle of sparkling cider and you’ll be set! (Prep time: 5 mins. Cook time 35 mins. Suuuuper easy to double or triple this recipe, too.)

Green Bean Casserole 

What you’ll need:

1 can cream of mushroom soup

3/4 cup of milk

1/8 teaspoon of black pepper

1 can of green beans

1 1/3 cup of french fried onions

(This recipe is awesome because you usually have half of these things in your fridge/pantry anyways! I only had to buy cream of mushroom & green beans which cost me about $1.50! Score.)

What to do:

-Preheat your oven to 350.

-Mix soup, milk and pepper in a baking dish (I used an 8×8 glass dish).

-Stir in beans and 2/3 cup french fried onions.

-Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

-Take out and stir. Top with remaining 2/3 cup of onions.

-Bake 5 minutes.

-Serve and enjoy!!
