Pregnancy Announcement: Baby #4

I am SO excited to finally share our wonderful news!!! It seems like we’ve been keeping this a secret forever, and I’m so elated that we are finally spilling the beans!

I’M PREGNANT!

Baby #4 will be here late July, early August and we are over the moon with excitement and joy! I’m currently 11 (almost 12) weeks pregnant! We found out in early December. We went to our favorite restaurant for lunch one Sunday afternoon and I couldn’t eat my food and felt so nauseas. I had mentioned to some friends the day before that it was weird I still hadn’t gotten my period (TMI) after the miscarriage, and then this. I had a weird feeling and went to buy a pregnancy test on my way home. The test was positive af. Like DARK, dark blue line. Since I had JUST had a miscarriage in October and was still processing those feelings (and definitely not trying to get pregnant super fast), I was in shock for a few days. It took a little while for me to sort out my feelings because I was still grieving the loss of the previous pregnancy.

I made a doctor appointment the next day and they were able to fit me in that afternoon. I was already almost 6 weeks pregnant (which is crazy to me because with Brooke, Harlym, and Deuce I tested positive and knew I was pregnant before 4 weeks). They couldn’t hear the heartbeat quite yet, but they could see the flutters! They also found a blood clot in my uterus that they’ve been keeping an eye on.

We’ve been laying low and I’ve been super MIA the past month or so because I’ve been SO stinkin’ sick. I’m finally starting to get my energy back and am feeling more like myself! And this past week, we got to hear baby’s heartbeat for the first time… loud, strong and fast! Hearing it has given me so much peace.
