It’s about that time, friends! I can’t believe Halloween is right around the corner AGAIN! How is time passing this quickly?! I’ve been so excited about Halloween this year because my kids are finally at an age where they are anticipating the candy-filled holiday and counting down the days until they get to choose their Halloween costumes!
Growing up, I dressed up as a Disney princess almost every year. Easy enough, right? Well, now that I have two very distantly different daughters, I’m realizing that it’s not that easy. Luckily, JCPenney has over 4,000 costumes to choose from! We went to JCPenney last week and let the kids pick out their own costumes! I was fully expecting to spend over $150 (I have three children) and I could not believe the incredible sales that were going on. All the costumes were between 25-30% off (be sure to check your local JCPenney for sales and specials)! I ended up spending less than $70 and was able to get costumes + accessories for all three kids… MOM WIN!
Brooklynn (age 4) chose Kion from Lion Guard. She watches Lion Guard every single day and was SO excited when she saw the costume in store!
Harlym (age 3) chose Jasmine from Aladdin. She was stuck between Jasmine and Elsa, but ultimately decided on Jasmine because wanted Jasmine’s crown, too!
And for Deuce (18 months), I chose Mickey Mouse! Oh. My. Gosh. Nothing is funnier than this little boy running waddling around in this Mickey costume! Especially with the big ole belly! My husband even got in on the fun and bought a Mickey Mouse shirt at JCPenney so he could “twin” with Deuce!
My favorite thing about these costumes is that my kids will get so much use out of them and wear them all year long. They love playing dress up. In fact, they’ve worn these Halloween costumes every single day since we’ve brought them home.
