Last year, when Deuce turned 4, the world had completely shut down. I remember feeling so guilty because there were so many fun things he was begging to do for his birthday, but we couldn’t see family, go anywhere, or celebrate in the way he wanted to. And it honestly was a very scary time. We didn’t know what the future held, or what tomorrow would bring. But we were together, and that’s what mattered at the end of the day.
And now, here we are, a year later. We finally have a home, a backyard, and space to run around and play (we had previously been in an apartment for years). And all Deuce wanted was to go to a farm for his birthday. So, I decided we would bring the farm to The Garcia’s. We definitely went all out (and worked with many incredible women-owned businesses- most being BROWN owned). We decided to just keep it with family only and just have a really special, intimate afternoon for Deuce.
And it was magical. Truly. I don’t know how we’ll ever top baby goats and baby bunnies and endless ice cream sandwiches, but man, I’m so grateful for all these photos to remember it by!
