When I became a mom, my body really changed. For a while, I didn’t think that moms were meant to be stylish because I just couldn’t get it together. I was trying to fit into my old clothes, trying to wear the same styles and it wasn’t working for me! I came to a realization that I didn’t have to compromise my style just because I’m a mama, but my style needed to evolve.
My favorite style of clothing (besides graphic tees – duh!) is what I like to call bohemian mama. While typical boho style is lots of layers, chunky or long jewelry and tons of braids… I’m here to show you how I make bohemian style practical for motherhood and still really, really cute!
The reason I love this dress so much for my mom bod is because it’s flowy and doesn’t show the pooch on my belly from my three beautiful kiddos. It’s a perfect dress for summer nights because of how light the material is. And I’m obsessed with the print!
My finishing touches to this bohemian look? My gold druzy ring from Wrenn Jewelry. These simple staple earrings from Thistle & Finn. A monogrammed clutch by Gentry California. And my day four mama hair. No, seriously!! I french braided my bangs into a bun, because a boho outfit isn’t complete without at least ONE braid!
