Bumpdate: I’m almost 36 weeks! I cannot believe that I will have a newborn baby in just a few weeks. It’s been hard to do a pregnancy update, simply because I don’t have anything positive to say regarding how I’m feeling or doing. I hate to sound like I’m complaining, because I really am excited and anxious to meet my son. But I also want to be honest with you all and share the not-so-perfect moments.
Baby’s head is sitting on my sciatic nerve. Moving, standing up, sitting, walking, bending over, standing still are all things that are difficult to do and cause intense pain. Basically laying down is my only option- except it’s not an option, because I have two busy toddlers! In addition to that, his head position (LOW) is causing numbing pains between my legs, which can occur even when I’m laying down. OH and headaches galore! Basically I’m a hot mess (insert a thousand crying emojis). Truly though, it’s frustrating. I feel like my body is failing me.
My doctor thinks that baby will be on the higher side of 8lbs by the time I’m due… I’m not convinced, since the girls were 7lbs 10oz and 7lbs 13oz, but who knows!
Currently Crushing On:
This week’s “Currently Crushing On” is a round-up of my faves from the past week: mama style, babies, and skincare!
Baby-friendly jewelry for mama’s by à la mum – Love this jewelry that Harlym can pull and chew on!
“Raising My Tribe” tee by Little Adi Co – I’m obviously a sucker for mommy themed graphic tees, so this shirt was a must-have for my spring & summer wardrobe!
Newborn baby squish! My brother in law and his wife welcomed their beautiful angel, Aria Faith Beltran, into the world last week! She is perfect in every way and I can’t wait to watch her grow up (with my son!!). Oh, and this “Mama” tee by The Blue Envelope is everything.
Eyes & Lips by OSEA Malibu – Let’s talk skincare. I cannot go a day without Eyes & Lips. The delicate skin around your eyes and lips are the first to show signs of aging… This moisturizing cream not only prevents that but repairs and visibly reduces lines and wrinkles if you already have them. I take care of my skin now in my 20’s so when I’m in my 50’s and 60’s I don’t regret it!!
No bump pictures this week, but my most recent bump can be seen here.
Thank you all for reading and all the kind words through the highs and lows of this pregnancy!
