Beauty Bumpdates Maternity Oils

32 Weeks + What I’ve Been Loving This Week

June 8, 2018

This past weekend, Anthony and I celebrated 5 years of marriage. We had a beautiful time at Hotel Adeline (by ourselves for 24 hours) and it was glorious. 32 weeks have passed by in the blink of an eye… I can’t believe we’re almost 7 weeks away from welcoming Bronx Elliot.

How far along?

I’m 32 weeks, 5 days.

It’s still a girl, lol. We did a blood test at 12 weeks and confirmed via ultrasound at 18 weeks.

The baby is as big as a squash!

How many months?

8 months.

Are you showing?

Y’all, my belly might look small-ish but she’s freaking huge. I can feel her in my ribs and vagina simultaneously.

Weight gain?

I currently weigh 170.0 pounds. The most I’ve EVER weighed in my entire life.

Maternity clothes?

Mostly. Still wearing some of my favorite t-shirts and sizing up in other non-maternity stuff.

This jumpsuit (by Rosalind Rose Boutique) is non-maternity and I’m wearing a large. It is SUPER comfortable and flowy – perfect for a small/medium bump. It will probably fit me for a few more weeks before she drops. And then it will be perfect for postpartum wear!!

Stretch marks?

I’ve covered in them, from my boobs to my thighs. I’m still using the Mama Mio line and it’s been incredible. My old stretch marks have begun fading and my new ones aren’t coming in as badly as before.

Mood this week?

Tired, as per usual.

Never. Still waking up at all times of the night to use the bathroom. And it’s getting REALLY hard to find a comfortable position.

I currently have a UTI, so that’s fun. And tonnnnns of contractions. And my boobs hurt. And it hurts to walk. And sit. But besides that, I’m good LOLLL.

Products I’m Loving This Week

Lavender and Stress Away Essential Oils have been my go-to lately. I put a drop of Lavender in my bath to relax, rub a drop across my pillow before bed to help me sleep, and rub a drop on the back of my neck or wrists when my anxiety is starting up. And I’ve been diffusing Stress Away around the house to create a calming environment (especially after a long or stressful day). Shop here.

I’ve also been loving this Anti-Aging Body Balm from OSEA Malibu (one of my all-time favorite skincare brands). I’ve been rubbing it all over my body (especially belly and hips) before bed. This ultra silky body balm intensely nourishes, hydrates and promotes firmer, more supple skin. Acai, Babassu, Passion Fruit and raw virgin Coconut oils deeply hydrate for a smoother, more radiant appearance.
