I’ve definitely neglected doing bumpdates this time around, because it’s been absolutely crazy the past few months. Between Deuce’s surgery, moving to Gilbert, and being sick 24/7, I’ve neglected almost EVERYTHING.
So here we are at 18 weeks pregnant!
Bumpdate: 18 weeks
How far along?
I’m 18 weeks to the day.
It’s a girl! We did a blood test at 12 weeks. We will confirm with an ultrasound in the next few weeks!
The baby is as big as an artichoke!
How many months?
I’m now officially 4 months preggo!
Are you showing?
I’ve been showing since about 10 weeks, so YES.
My weight has been a tough issue this pregnancy. I was diagnosed with IBS (because of symptoms over the past 2 years – that are super heightened during pregnancy) and have lost about 25lbs so far during this pregnancy. I’m seeing a specialist in the coming weeks, but I’ve just been super sick non-stop. It’s been awful.
I’ve been rocking maternity clothes since 12 weeks. I love me some stretchy leggings.
I mean, I’m already covered in tiger marks from my belly button, to hips, to upper thighs. I haven’t noticed any new ones, yet.
Belly button: in or out?
In. It has never fully popped out throughout the last 3 pregnancies, so we will see what happens!
Mood this week?
Tired. Anxious. And a little bit sad. I’ll go more into that later this week once I have the energy to publish that post.
My anxiety has made it hard for me to fall asleep this past week, but once I’m out… I’m out. And then I wake up 2-3 times a night to pee. Which is good because a month ago, I was waking up 5-8 times a night, LOL. I told Anthony I wanted a freaking catheter.
Besides exhaustion? I’ve had cramps (which has caused anxiety) and I’ve started feeling pressure *down there*. So I’ll bring that up at my appointment this week!
Besides all that, I’ve started to feel her move around a little bit and that is the BEST feeling! And I finally found a new OB since we moved! YAY!
Bronx’s First Mail Day:
We’ve received a couple really cute things in mail for Bronx and it’s gotten me even more excited for her arrival!!
The first thing we received was the cutest package in the mail from Reserved Only! I loved sleep cocoons with Deuce and this rainbow polka dot sleep cocoon caught my eye for our sweet rainbow baby. And then of course, the “LOVE” sleep dress with a matching hat just melted my heart! The shop owner is the absolute sweetest and she even sent a few adorable burp cloths! I’m so excited to use them in a few short months.
And then this past week, we received this adorable Deer rattle from Finn+Emma! It’s so cute and Deuce has been playing with it non-stop. It may be hard to take it away from him once his little sister arrives.
And last, but not least is this shopping cart hammock from Binxy Baby! If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll remember this from when Deuce was born. We used it ALL. THE. TIME. and always got so many compliments from people at the grocery store or Target! People would seriously stop to ask about it because that’s how cool it is. I’m so excited to use this floral print hammock when Bronx is born!!
I’ll try to stay on top of the bumpdates from here on out! Xo
